End of the Year!

Junior Varieties!

Hey guys, Make sure to buy your ticket to the 73rd Annual Junior Varieties show, it is this week, Friday and Saturday, March 15th and 16th. Tickets are on sale at all lunches for $7 dollars, and $10 dollars at the door. Be prepared for a great show, with great talent! Remember, Get Real!

Trivia Night!

Hey Guys! Our Trivia Night will be held on the 10th of January and it's not too late to sign up! The cost is $5 per team members. Teams can be up to 5 players. Spread the word. LET AN OFFICER OR ADVISER KNOW IF YOUR INTERESTED. Encourage other people to play too! We guarantee a fun night!

Junior Varieties

Yes, it is approaching us. It's time to start preparing for the biggest fundraiser of the year, Junior Varieties. Auditions will be held this week, for those who signed up before break. Aside from the performing part of JV's, we need sponsors to raise money, to pay for things like equipment and such. If you have a sponsors sheet filled out please bring it to an officer or to an adviser  ASAP. If you need a sheet, pick one up in either Ms.Brown or Ms.Rogowicz's rooms. But I can't stress this enough, SPONSORS, SPONSORS, SPONSORS!!!!

Spirit Week!

Hey guys! Congrats in coming in second for spirit week. Thanks to everybody who participated in all the events, especially those who dedicated their Monday and Tuesday to help with the banner. Moving aside from spirit week, we are trying our best to sell the Entertainment books. We still need everybody's help, if you are interested or know anybody that is interested talk to an officer or an adviser to get an order form. Thank you!

Entertainment Books!

Our Entertainment Book fundraiser has been extended to November 14th, so that gives juniors a little more time to sell them. If you are interested in buying an Entertainment Book for $35, see a junior to order one. We know $35 may seem like a lot, but trust us you will earn your money back fast, these books are packed cover to cover with great coupons and deals to local businesses. Remember you have until the November 14th to buy one!

Let the Fundraisers Begin

For our first major fundraiser of the year we will be selling Entertainment books. We will be selling them from October 29th - November 9th. They will also be sold at the Crafts Fair. This big coupon book is filled with hundreds coupons for your area on the things people do everyday like: dining, groceries, shopping, movie tickets, services, travel, attractions, and more. All coupons will be available for the year of 2013. There is a smart phone app available so you cant easily take the coupons to go. The cost of the book will be 35 dollars, but considering the amount of coupons you will be getting, you will be able to earn your savings back quickly. 50% of the profit goes to the Class of 2014.

Fundraisers for the End of the Year!

Pisa Pizza Week (March 4-10)

• 10% of all proceeds go to the class as long as you mention the class of 2014
• Includes eating in or taking out
• The advisers, officers, and anyone else that is interested in helping will be there on Wednesday night to promote, do the 50/50 raffle/basket raffles.
• We may do scratch tickets then as well if they come in on time!

John Brewer's Tavern Night (April)

• Date is TBA (Wednesday)
• Sell scratch tickets at the entrance
• 50/50 raffle and maybe a basket raffle

Zumba Fitness (April)

• Date TBA
• $10/person
• 100% profit goes to us!

Trivia Night (May) -- Details not finalized yet!

• Date TBA
• Teams of 5 pay a registration fee of $25 ($5/person)
• We need a host MC and a playlist
• Win $100 gift card
• Similar to Knowledge Bowl! Large variety of questions!

Pisa Pizza Week!

We'll be having a Pisa Pizza week from March 4-10. Eat at Pisa Pizza and 10% of what you spend will go to the class, as long as you remember to mention the Malden High School Class of 2014. 

Wednesday of that week (March 7), we will be doing a 50/50 raffle and raffling off various items. Don't forget to stop by!

Spirit Week!

This week is Spirit Week! The activities for the week are:
Monday, November 21: Pajama Day
Tuesday, November 22: Wacky Tacky Day
Wednesday, November 23: Blue and Gold Day, pep rally

Remember that we get points for every sophomore who dresses up! Also, we'll be working on our banner in Ms. Rocowicz's room after school on Monday and Tuesday.

We still have t-shirts, in case you haven't gotten one yet! They're PERFECT for Blue and Gold Day, to show your pride in your school and your class
